Fortum chose CEF´s WBS business as its protégé in the Corporate Venture program
The corporate venture program managed by Lahti region development company LADEC provides growth companies with keys for international growth. The aim is to raise growth companies to master class.
The program involves three major corporations, Fortum, Kuusakoski and S group. Almost one hundred growth companies applied for the CVP-program. Each of the three corporations chose the most interesting protégées for themselves by an application process.
The corporations chose altogether seven companies for follow-up. These companies receive support for their business strategy and growth plan and in addition specialist consulting to commercialize their ideas for a half year support period.
Fortum chose WBS
CEF´s WBS-remote monitoring solutions aroused the interest of Fortum. After a tough qualifying round Fortum decided to choose CEF as its protégé and partner in the CVP-program.
